Gregory & Co have traded in Richmond for over forty-five years and employ three generations of professional jewellers. Their own pages give two different figures, over forty-five years trading and over thirty years of jewellery-making experience, so we have quoted both rather than reconciling them.

The distinguishing feature is the on-site workshop. The people who design your ring are in the building, which changes what is possible: alterations mid-process, repairs done properly, and above all remodelling, which is a substantial part of what they do.

That last point deserves attention. If there is an inherited ring in the family that nobody wears, a workshop that upcycles is a genuinely different proposition from a retailer that sells you something new. The stones already mean something, which is a head start no new purchase has.
