About

A Family Legacy Run by Two Brothers

W&W Jewellery was founded in 2008 by brothers Richard and Simon Warrender, carrying on a family jewellery legacy the firm puts at more than 75 years. The studio sits on Webb’s Road in Battersea, and the work is bespoke from end to end: design, stone sourcing and making, with the brothers themselves running the consultations.

Google shows 140 reviews, and every one of them is five star. We analysed all 138, across more than six years, and they reply to 93 per cent, among the highest rates we have counted.

Two service details stand out. An online client portal keeps you connected to your commission between consultations, design iterations included. And the first consultation happens wherever suits: the Battersea studio, remotely, or through their City service at a convenient location in London.

Two brothers, a 75-year family legacy, and 138 of 138 analysed reviews at five star, nearly all of them answered.

Depth of knowledge leads with 25 mentions and the bespoke and design process follows on 23, with eight reviewers describing being guided through as a nervous first-timer. The record reads as considered commissions rather than quick sales.

Nothing sits below five stars, and 93 per cent of reviews carry a reply, so the record is a two-way conversation. It is No. 8 on our Outside Hatton Garden list.

For scale: that record sits in the top 1 per cent for the share of reviews at four stars or better. In plain terms, you should be in safe hands here.

I had no idea on where to start when looking for an engagement ring for my partner, I just knew that, after a few googles, I wanted to go local and independent.”
Anthony Bell · December 2024 · On Google
We couldn’t be more happy about the final design and look of Maria’s engagement ring. Simon and his team were incredibly thoughtful, responsive and professional throughout the process. From the start, when we were not quite sure what we wanted, but they listened carefully to our ideas and incorporated them into various beautiful designs.”

Who this suits

The Right Buyer for W&W Jewellery

This suits a buyer south of the river who wants a genuinely personal commission without a trip to the quarter, and anyone who likes the idea of a design portal tracking the piece between meetings.

The City service suits buyers who want the consultation to come to them. Less suited to anyone who wants to browse ready-made stock; this is a commission studio, by appointment, closing mid-afternoon on Fridays.

First ring? W&W Jewellery sits on our First-Time Buyers list, and our beginners guide covers budget, stones and how a first visit works.
